We're pleased to support Coach Oak Hewer as he moves to a coaching position with Team Illinois AAA Hockey Club. Coach Hewer has spent 13 seasons with us as a coach for various age levels. He spent 3 years as a Hockey Director for RHC as well. He has impacted many players and coaches during his time with RHC. President Jordan Tuminaro says, "We have found great value in Oak's years of service to the club, his hockey knowledge and experience, and passion for kids growth on and off the ice. We are pleased he was able to do this in Rockford for so many years. We look forward to having him as a continual support for hockey development in Rockford."

Coach Hewer has this to say about Rockford, "The Rockford Hockey Club and it’s members have been, and will continue to be a huge part of our family’s lives. We are grateful for the friendships we continue to make through the club. Thank you for giving our community’s youth the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop as people, through travel hockey. Thank you to our volunteer board members who work hard behind the scenes to make sure kids have these opportunities to play a game we all love at an affordable rate. There are so many players and coaches that I am fortunate to share the ice with and make it a blast to come to the rink everyday. In the grand scheme of things, it’s all development. Thank you Rockford Hockey Club.”

Best of luck to Coach Hewer!
